Well my story maybe be a little different from most people, but it all started at birth and with my father! As I was growing up I always had dry sensitive skin. My parents tried everything but, nothing would last. So as I got older and wiser, I started doing my own research on dry, sensitive skin, and excema.
My mom used to tell I need lotion all the time because I was ashy and my friends would too. I would say I put some on this morning! So I thought that's just the way my skin was supposed to be.
Once I graduated from high school and went to college and things were a little bit different. I couldn't be like this around the men, they will never want to date me.
So when I was in college my dad started his own business in the IT world and a Copy Center. People from all over Nashville would come and make Copies, flyers, church programs, resumes, newsletters, business, printing, and t-shirts! While my father was putting in networks and building computers for people and companies. I would took care of the the Copy Center and later started selling pagers and Cricket phones for the Bordeaux community. We'll after time went own technology changed and we went out of business. I had to go back to work for pennies and start all over. This was devastating and I still had the worst skin ever. When I went out of business this gave me some time to research my dry skin journey. So I went to the bookstore and tried to find the #1 selling books on how to make skin products naturally. I went home and bought all of the ingredients and read all of the instructions and I still had dry skin. It wasn't until later that I researched online and discovered YouTube and found out how to really make it work. So I decided to combine all the books I read and all the research I did online and create my own formula in the kitchen by hand.
So I still continue to find the best quality ingredients for my products that I make. I have discovered that there really is a end to dry sensitive skin, that the dermatologist couldn't cure! Now I have crafted body butters, soaps, sugar scrubs, and body washes that last all day! The fragrances alone are to die for.
